This Mexiconn is only interesting because with it, Conn tried to bring back some of its former glory. Jason DuMars talks about this on Sax On The Web when he says this, about this particular model:
"It's a very poorly constructed horn that is prone to falling apart, but the geometry and key design is fabulous. It's essentially based on the 28M with most of the doodads removed. They are made in Mexico."
