Description: Bb Soprillo
Manufacturer: Benedikt Eppelsheim
Serial #: 107
Finish: Gold plated with a combination of matte and shiny finish.
Source: saxo-on on

This is of course the smallest horn in saxophone family. Until Benedikt Eppelsheim designed and manufactured this instrument, there was no "sopranisimo" sax, other than a conceptual one that Adolphe Sax had created.

This is how Eppelsheim describes the Soprillo on his website:

The Soprillo Bb piccolo saxophone

> written range Bb 3–Eb 6, sounding Ab4-Db 7
> 1 octave above Bb soprano
> same fingering as any modern saxophone
> uses Eb , Ab or German style Bb clarinet reeds or sopranino sax reeds

Attention: Due to its extreme range and the required very firm embouchure only professional players can play the Soprillo.
It may take several months of practice to reach the highest notes.
