Octave Key & Mechanism
Description: Eb Alto
Manufacturer: J. Keilwerth
Model: Toneking Series III
Stencil Name: Jubilee
Serial #: 286XX
Finish: Lacquer
Source: Helen Kahlke

This is my personal horn. I bought it from a sax-playing colleague who deals in musical instruments. This alto is in very good condition. It has never been abused, and appears to not have been played a great deal. The only damage to the horn is the angel wing key guard which got broken off at some point just behind the low C key.

The sax has had a partial repad, and plays fine the way it is. However, I willl likely get it rebuilt at some point in the future. As it is, it is a perfect match to
my Jubilee tenor that I just came back from getting a restoration.

This alto is from 1957, and still has all its original accessories, which are all in excellent condition. (See next gallery.)
