Description: Bb Tenor
Manufacturer: Siegfried Wolfram
Serial #: These had none
Finish: Silver plated
Source: bluespeter1 on eBay.de

This Wolfram was manufactured under the Son's name (Siegfried). Siegfried earned his Master Craftsman's diploma in saxophone manufacturing in 1952.

This saxophone has all the hallmark signs of a mid-century German horn: rolled tone holes, G# and high D/D# trill keys, and even a fork Eb. Additionally, if you look at the left pinkie cluster, you will note it bears a striking resemblance to that of the Eugen Schuster. That might very well be because his father Oswald, worked from 1934 - 1945 by Eugen Schuster, in the area of saxophone production.

I plan to write the history of the company, but until I do, check out the German version on the company's website. (Yes, they still exist!)
