This little sax belongs to a friend of mine, who bought on eBay, through a music store in Winnipeg. Since he bought it, he added the corks with pearl touches on the left key palm keys, as well as the black neoprene riser on the side C key. He also replaced all the pads, corks, and springs on this little sax.
This alto has the tiniest tone holes that I have ever seen on an alto saxophone. The tone holes on the left palm keys are about half the size as those on say my Toneking. All the tone holes on this horn are rolled.
Like the Hüttl tenor tenor that sold on the German eBay site in April 2005 that this sax shares a lot of features with, this horn too is a real enigma. You can see the photos of the Hüttl for yourself here, if you would like to compare the 2 horns: http://bassic-sax.info/4images/categories.php?cat_id=505 |
