This horn is a rare bird. According to Dr. Enrico Weller in the forum of the Museums Markneukirchen, saxophones were the only instruments that Eugen Schuster made. The rest of their instruments were all stencilled by other companies.
This incredibly minty sax has a left pinkie cluster reminiscent of a Conn, with the extra trill keys common for European horns of the same era. |
