Left Pinkie Cluster
Description: Bb Tenor
Manufacturer: VEB Blechblas und Signal-Instrumenten-Fabrik
Model: Weltklang
Serial #: 3998
Finish: silver plated with coloured glass key touches
Source: g.mu6 on eBay.com

This early-model Weltklang still has the coloured key touches & rollers that we saw on the Akustik alto & tenor saxophones (there were no soprano or bari Akustiks). In the early 1960s the Weltklang was introduced as the Akustik replacement by B&S.

This sax has C/D# & G# trill keys, and a fork Eb. It does not however, have a microtuner.

This tenor is in very rough shape, and the only reason it is of interest here, is because it is the highest serial-numbered Weltklang that I have seen to date, that has the Akustik-like key touches and rollers.
