This Dearman is most likely a Kohlert stencil. Unlike theDearman Master that is also in this mystery gallery, this tenor looks very German. It does have a JK/Kohlert appearance to it.
There is a Dearman President in the Kohlert Gallery that is the same as the Pennsylvania Special horns that Kohlert made. We therefore know that Kohlert did stencil horns for Dearman, so it's not a stretch to think that they made this horn for the company as well. |
