Three months after the horn originally appeared on eBay (and didn't sell), this Hammerschmidt alto showed up again. Although the seller was different, the text was almost verbatim the same as the one from January.
Again the seller claimed that this sax belonged to the woman who played it in the German band Graphic Sensibility. This seller also stated that he was administering the estate, and that after sitting in a case for 20 years he was selling the horn.
Perhaps the biggest difference was that this seller actually described features that the sax has, liked rolled tone holes. He also stated that there was no mouthpiece included. (The previous auction did include what looked like a metal Berg).
Since I was unable to find out the sax player's name searching German Google. If anyone can shed some light onto any info please use the contact button on the left. Thanks! |
