There are 2 things that make this horn quite different from other D&J's we see all the time on eBay and the likes:

1. The engraving. Note that it has a little bird on the bell rather than the regular mountain peaks we associate with D&J horns. (It should be noted that Original Hopf Classic tenor 75XX also has a bird, as well as the mountain peaks.)

2. The key guards are of course what is most unique on this D&J horn. These are either what Dörfler & Jörka put on their earliest horns, or what was offered as an option on their early horns. Either way, this metal "angel wing" is reminiscent of the replacement angel wings that we sometimes see on J. Keilwerth's Toneking and The New King saxophones.

Dörfler & Jörka produced alto and tenor stencil saxophones for many companies that strongly resembled the J. Keilwerths of the day. However, D&J are not Keilwerth stencil saxophones.
