Bow Left Side
Description: Eb Baritone
Manufacturer: Selmer
Model: Mark VII Low A Bari
Serial #: 310XXX
Finish: Lacquer
Source: soundfuga.jp

Price: This horn was listed for 720,000 (taxes in) in April 2016.

I had to search high and low to find an example of the elusive Mark VII bari. I had heard that a few of them existed, but until I saw pics of this one, I had not seen photographic evidence of one.

Other than the Mark VII stamping on the bell to bow connecting ring (pointing backwards BTW), and the Mark VII logo on the neck, this sax seems to have none of the other features that the Mark VIIs had. Most obviously, it does not have the over-sized left and right pinkie keys. Nor does it have the "flattened" type of bell to body support brace—or "bell ring", as Selmer calls it in the ad brochure.
