This is the first, and to date, only Pierret bass saxophone that I have seen.
Not surprisingly, it is a short, or "French" wrap bass. It does not have a bis Bb key, and it appears to be keyed to high Eb only.
It has the left pinkie cluster that we see in some of Super Artiste and Artiste series of horns. Its key guards indicate that it is newer than many of the Pierrets that are Unlabelled. |
