Another set of photos of another of the nearly mythological Modele 8/Super 8 saxophones by Pierret. Note that the horn itself is engraved Modele 8, note Super 8, but it has all the features of the Super 8 noted in the brochure.

This horn does appear to be the most advanced of all the numbered models. This is pure speculation on my part, but perhaps it was the transitional horn that Pierret built that took the company into the named horns.

It is interesting to note that this sax has a G# trill key, as well as what appears to be another trill key where we commonly see the high F# key. Perhaps it is a C/D/D# triller like we see in the German horns so often.
