Bell Engraving 2
Description: Bb Tenor
Manufacturer: F. Köhler
Stencil Name: C.A. Wunderlich
Model: Cea
Serial #: 519
Finish: Matte silver plated body with burnished silver keys and bell
Source: klarinette10_0 on

Note: This horn sold for EUR 950,00 in November 2016.

It had been completely overhauled prior to sale.

This horn has a few interesting features that clearly indicate it was a top-of-the-line instrument of the day:

1. The MOP key touches on all the keys;
2. The extra keys, which include G# and C/D trill keys, as well as a 2nd E3 key that is located directly beside the C/D trill key.

Based on the left pinkie cluster, as well as split bell keys, I suspect this is an early model of Köhler saxophone.
