This lovely looking horn did have its original thumb rest replaced. It now sports one from a Yamaha.
This alto would have been produced by the Kohlert company after the family relocated from Graslitz to Germany after the Kohlert company/factory in Czechoslovakia was "nationalized" in 1948, and became a part of the collective called Amati. |
