Well we’ve got some pretty good guesses and deductions based on only the 1 photo I posted a couple of days ago. Based on the emails that I’ve received, I know that many more of you are playing at home. 😉
So as promised, here’s another photo of the mystery sax.
The pertinent info is as follows:
- Serial #: 46XX
- Circa WWII
- Congrats to Quinn, who recognized it as being a German-made horn. He even got the city right!

I actually have the correct answer already. Someone emailed me with the brand and model names. However, the man owns one, so it wasn’t too hard for him to figure it out. :saxy:
