The engraving on the bell reads: Fabr. Erstkl. Saxophone. In English that translates to: Makers of first class saxophones.
Note the following about this MK tenor:
1. This horn does not have rolled tone holes. This is very unusual for Max Keilwerth horns. Perhaps it was a very early serial #? Or maybe it was cheaper version. The alto in this sub-gallery is called a "Special". This tenor does not have such a designation.
2. The horn has G# and C/D trill keys.
3. It also has a front F key.
4. The neck terminates in a microtuner.
