This alto is the first I ever saw way back in 2010 with bevelled tone holes. Unfortunately we don't for sure know what the serial # is b/c the seller claimed that is was partially "rubbed off". He guessed it was 24XX.
What in part makes me question the serial # claim is the neck fastening screw. This horn lacks the round thumb screw we associate with the Hohner Presidents. From the photo we can see that the horn never had one. This, combined with the bevelled tone holes makes me wonder if we're not looking at a much older horn.
It of course has the C/D and G trill keys.
