On October 22 I published an article about a Calgary woman who was seen practicing saxophone while driving her car. At the time I thought that this was perhaps a one of. What was I thinking?
Thanks to YouTube, and the notoriety it provides for stupid human tricks, I happened to see this little gem from California. It was uploaded April 10, 2010—a full 18 months before the woman from Calgary was seen practicing unsafe sax.
I’m left somewhat speechless. I guess there really is no end to the stupidity of some people.
On the plus side, when I was a paramedic, we called that job security. And in this day and age of job cut-backs, who wouldn’t want some of that?
…this is just my blog. My “real” website is www.bassic-sax.info. If you’re looking for sax info, you should check it out too. There’s lots there!
I know a few trumpet players that keep a pocket trumpet in the car so they can warm up and/or practice at red lights. That’s the key part though — AT RED LIGHTS, not while in motion. (Or someone else is driving, which has the same effect.)
Isn’t a Soprillo a “pocket sax”? 😈
