As my clock radio woke me up this morning, I awoke to the sounds of a saxophone solo. It was in a song I hadn’t heard in years\u2014likely 10 or more.<\/p>\n
It Ain’t Enough<\/em> became much more than the song’s title. It became my mantra, as I tried to recall enough of the song to remember what it was that I had heard. (I hate mornings.) \ud83d\udc7f<\/p>\n In the 1980s, Canadian Corey Hart was a staple on the airwaves both north and south of the border. In August 1984, his first single, Sunglasses at Night<\/em>, made it all the way to the #7 spot on the Billboard Hot 100<\/em>.\u00b9<\/p>\n Another hit off his first album, First Offense<\/em>, also did well in the charts. It Ain’t Enough<\/em> featured a great deal of saxophone work, and made it to the #17 spot in the Billboard<\/em> charts.<\/p>\n
