That is, until today. One thing that makes the D&amp;J easily identifiable is their <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/version5\/wp-content\/gallery\/rene-dumont-from-doctorsax-biz\/neck-tightening-screw-side.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">neck fastening screw<\/a>. (I have mine padded with a rubber thumb guard.)<\/p>\n<p>The seller of this D&amp;J tenor describes the horn like this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The instrument is in very good condition. Bell is round and true.<\/p>\n<p>Signed on bell: Carl Schiller. Marked on back: 99 90 \/ Made in Western Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Comes with a mouthpiece marked: Made in Italy.
