When we lived in Fredericton, we had a two bedroom apartment in the house. It was a nice granny suite that was built by the original owner—the builder—for his mother. I used the space as my music studio and office.

During the holidays I put up a Christmas tree, with musical-themed ornaments, in the living room of this suite. The ornaments were made of translucent glass, and had gold trim and lots of sparkles. There were lots of saxophones in the set of ornaments, as well as the usual trumpets and French horns.

Bassic Sax Blog’s Christmas 2014 Feature: Sax-themed tree ornaments

This year the Bassic Sax Blog is going to feature something different. Over the years I’ve created Advent Calendars,</del> or done a series of articles featuring possible gifts for saxophone players. This year however, I’ve decided to take a look at just a few of the many sax-themed tree ornaments that are available if a person wanted to add one, or many, to their Christmas tree.

Maybe you’re looking for just one special piece for your tree. Or perhaps you’d like to do up your entire tree in sax-themed tree ornaments. Whatever the case, in only a few minutes this morning I was able to find literally hundreds of saxophone-themed tree ornaments. This is just a small sampling of what I found on eBay.
