Quite a few <a href=\"https:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Right-Side-On-Peg.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new bass<\/a>, and even <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/floorpegmounts.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">baritone saxophones<\/a> come with floor pegs. There are threads on SOTW dedicated to players discussing making their own for their baritone saxophones (<a href=\"http:\/\/forum.saxontheweb.net\/showthread.php?137864-add-on-floor-peg-for-bari-sax\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 <\/a>&amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.saxontheweb.net\/showthread.php?76198-Putting-a-Floor-Peg-On-a-Bari\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>However, none of the floor pegs that I have come across in my research of the topic thus far are quite like this one from Italy. He addresses some of the main concerns that I have always had about adding a peg to my Buescher bass:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It doesn&#8217;t interfere with the instrument&#8217;s sonority.<\/li>\n<li>It allows for the instrument to be played both seated and standing.<\/li>\n<li>It doesn&#8217;t need to be removed when the instrument is stored in its case or stood up in its stand.<\/li>\n<li>The added bonus is that it appears to attach without the need for welding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Obviously based on his description, the telescopic floor peg for Buescher True Tone bass saxophones is custom-made upon ordering.
