Note the double octave keys on this soprano. Also the range is low B to high Eb.

This horn is quite a mystery. In all the research that I have done on the brand, I have not uncovered any other saxophones, only brass winds—and some very unusual ones at that. [It's possible that] Decart Freres had their saxophones stencilled by another French manufacturer like Dolnet or Buffet.

The seller stated the horn dated from 1894. I would sure like to know how he came up with that. Nothing that I've seen would lead me to any conclusion about a range, let alone a definite year of production.
