All DABICO\u00a0saxophones were stencils, and a variety of companies supplied the saxophones for them. For example, some DABICO horns were made by Pierret, while others were made by Hammerschmidt. This alto is one of the later.<\/p>\n<p>Besides this being a full pearl model, like my <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/version5\/gear\/unusual-saxes\/huttl-alto\">H\u00fcttl De Luxe<\/a>, note the <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/version5\/wp-content\/gallery\/dabico-alto-from-thesax-info\/bow-guard-detail-fixed.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">ornate bow<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/version5\/wp-content\/gallery\/dabico-alto-from-thesax-info\/neck-neck-guard-detail.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">neck guards<\/a>, as well as the <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/version5\/wp-content\/gallery\/dabico-alto-from-thesax-info\/lower-portion-left-side.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">body to bow, and bell to body connecting rings<\/a>. Although we don&#8217;t know when this sax might have been produced, these ornamentations are\u00a0what we see in the earlier models of Hammerschmidt saxophones that had the <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/version5\/wp-content\/gallery\/silver-plated-klingsor\/low-c-key-guard.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">acrylic key guards<\/a>. In horns with metal key guards, these features\u2014both in Hammerschmidt&#8217;s own <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/version5\/wp-content\/gallery\/klingsor-alto-from-german-ebay-march-2010\/in-case.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Klingsor line<\/a>, and in <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/version5\/wp-content\/gallery\/hammerschmidt-stencilled-huttl\/right-side.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">their stencils<\/a>\u2014were usually plain.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10px;\">\u00a0Source: eBay.com<\/span><\/p>\n<p>**Please Note**<\/p>\n<p>Because the of the size of the various vintage saxophone galleries on my site\u2014and the lack of their searchability\u2014I have created a separate area of my site called <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/4images\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">Bassic Sax Pix<\/a>.
