\nWhen someone is shopping for a new, Asian-made bass saxophone, they’re immediately confronted by a plethora of choices. However, behind all the stencil names, slight differences in finishes, and possible other variations, there are really only two manufacturers: Jinbao and Jinyin.* This reality has been discussed on both the former Bass Saxophone Cooperative, and on my blog.<\/p>\n

Steve Goodson, who has been working extensively with Asian factories in the production of his own lines of saxophones for years, actually left a comment on my blog confirming this fact on June 26, 2009<\/a>. <\/p>\n

This section of my website is dedicated to the two Asian makers of bass saxophones, and really provides more of a photo gallery of the various stencil names that I’ve come across. As I find more in the future, I will add names and photos to the gallery.<\/p>\n
