H\u00fcller company was founded by Gottlob Hermann H\u00fcller in 1878 and started manufacturing saxophones in the early 1920s. The company was located in Sch\u00f6neck, Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Like the Holton company&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/bassic-sax.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/41xu4.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rudy Wiedoeft models<\/a>, some early models G.H. H\u00fcller built had a D resonance key, (<em>D-Resonanzklappe<\/em>). H\u00fcller could have been described as the largest saxophone manufacturer in Germany. At the time they were building more saxophones than Adler. G.H. H\u00fcller models at the time were the: <em>Imperial, Artist, Olymp, and Orpheus<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>After the Second Word War many of G.H. H\u00fcller&#8217;s horns were sent to the Soviet Union as part of Germany&#8217;s war reparations. In 1947 the company was in part nationalized. Then in 1975, the nationalized firm of VEB Holzblasinstrumente Sch\u00f6neck\u2014which was founded in 1972, and that the original G.H. H\u00fcller was now part of\u2014was integrated into VEB Blechblas- und Signal-Instrumente, and saxophone production carried on. In 1991, when VEB Blechblas- und Signal-Instrumente became Vogtl\u00e4ndische Musikinstrumentenfabrik GmbH (B&amp;S\/VMI), the G.H.
