Hohner Gallery

**Please Note**

Because the of the size of the various vintage saxophone galleries on my site—and the lack of their searchability—I have created a separate area of my site called Bassic Sax Pix. Bassic Sax Pix allows you to find what you’re looking for quickly and easily. I have therefore stopped updating the Hohner President gallery here, and have copied all of the information already contained in this gallery over to the Hohner gallery at Bassic Sax Pix.

New Hohner President  images continue to be added regularly to the gallery at Bassic Sax Pix. If you are looking for photos of Hohner President saxophones, I recommend you jump to the bigger, and more searchable galleries. As of January 2013, there are 25 alto galleries, as well as 48 tenor galleries, with a combined total of 698 photos of Hohner Presidents in them.

President Alto

Serial #: 48XX  circa 1955
Finish: Lacquer with nickel plated keys

This horn has a high D# trill key.

Despite the damage to the bell, this sax is in otherwise good shape. It is in need of an overhaul and the dent work being done. I plan to have my tech restore it in the near future.
