While I realize that sadly summer is slowly coming an end, I saw this photo on Flickr that might give those of us with yards ideas for next year. Even if you don’t have a yard, this photo might bring a smile to your face.

Tacky garden kitsch—especially when it’s in the shape of flamingos—often makes people smile.
The photographer writes the following about this interesting garden ornament:
One of the few that cut into the flamingo. Part of the Fabulous Flamingos public-participation art installation at Matthaei Botanical Gardens.
