This instrument is high pitch according to Arne Larson, although it has the HP/LP conversion mechanism (extra tubing). Larson dated the instrument at 1900. Mouthpiece is marked York and Son.

Instrument bears a union label (shield) with the following notation: MPBPB &SWU LABEL Bell of the instrument is approximately 20 inches in diameter and the instrument stands approximately 32 inches high. Slide tube on the second valve has two etched marks and is marked "L.P." The mouthpiece is stamped "York & Sons #18" Silver-plated with three piston valves.
