While trolling Flickr for interesting saxophone photos, I happened across this one of Phil Woods performing during the inauguration night of the newly renovated Parisian jazz club, Duc des Lombards.

I don’t think that there is a saxophone player alive who hasn’t heard of Phil Woods. He is an institution in the jazz and saxophone world, and his career has spanned more than 5 decades.
