Another Saxophone Made Of Bamboo

While perusing through Flickr this morning, I came across another bamboo saxophone. These are made by Angel Sampedro, and were photographed by tutescin.

These bamboo saxophones don’t resemble those of Philipus Jani (1), (2), (3) too greatly. They also don’t bare a striking resemblance to those once used by the Manila orchestra, as shown in the photo below.

If you’re interested in reading a bit more about bamboo saxophones, you might find my articles from April 5, 2009 and June 27, 2009, interesting. Something else you might find interesting, are my articles on the Saxwood, wooden saxophone, as well as the Nova brand, wooden saxophone.

…this is just my blog. My “real” website is www.bassic-sax.info. If you’re looking for sax info, you should check it out too. There’s lots there!
