Here we have a very interesting item! It is a vintage taxidermy REAL frog playing what we believe is a saxophone! It measures approx. 7 1/4″ tall and the wood base measures 3″x3″. I have a feeling that someone made a whole “band” of these frogs, as in our research we have seen one playing bongos and one playing a cello! What an extremely unique gift for that frog collector…ya know not everyone has one of these!!…lol

You know, it’s been my experience that getting a photo of a saxophonist playing is always difficult. Photographers usually get a shot of them with their cheeks puffed; their mouths open while taking a breath; or in some other unflattering pose. Apparently this little guy had the same problem when it came time for his head shot. 😀
