Do You Like To Put Together Models? Are You Into Sax Collectibles?

If the answer to either of these questions is “yes”, then what I saw on eBay last night might just float your boat. A seller in Japan is selling a model saxophone kit from the 1970s, which is still in its original packaging.

I wonder what that audio cassette tape is for?      I wonder what language it’s in. I’m guessing Japanese.

Have you ever noticed when you buy furniture made in an Asian country, more often than not the few English sentences they use to explain the illustrations, don’t quite make sense? Either the wrong words are used, or letters are missing from words, or sometimes words are missing altogether.

If you’re the type who finds those kind of directions frustrating, you wouldn’t even want to tackle these… 😉

I’ve never been into assembling models, and I sure wouldn’t want to start with this one. This is clearly one designed for advanced modelers.

  1. Update: I wonder if one of the readers of this site bought this interesting little model? It sold for the BIN price of $61.00 on the same day I wrote this article (Nov. 3). As a matter of fact, when I checked the auction shortly after I posted this auction, the item was already sold. 😮
