I’m not sure how I missed writing about this, but it’s been nearly a year since Hungary’s Marcellina, released her version of Raval’s Bolero. However, it wouldn’t be a Marcellina video without humour, sex appeal, and of course her signature white saxophone.
Marcellina’s version of Bolero, which BTW, she calls Appel Bolero, is full of symbolism, which if you’re at all familiar with the Bible at all, you can’t help but see. Even the title gives a hint of what’s to come.
So sit back, and enjoy. I think you’ll like the quirkiness and light-heartedness, that Marcellina brings to her arrangement and video.
See what I mean? It ain’t your father’s or grandfather’s Bolero any more. 😉
