A few weeks ago I noticed a photo by Toru Kosaka that was so unique it stuck in my head. (Given how many photos of saxophones I see in the course of a week, that’s saying something.) I had never seen a photo of a saxophone quite like this before.

Kosaka’s usual subjects are car parts. He has a very unique way of looking at the subject matter, and can find the artistry in the unusual shapes and colours of the man-made constructs which he focuses on.
If you look through Kosaka’s photos, you’ll notice a couple of shots of a tuba interspersed between the car parts as well. This one in particular is very interesting.
If you like this type of photography, or you like looking at cars and their intricate parts, you will really like the work of Toru Kosaka.
