J.R. Lafleur & Son
A.K. Hüttl
A.K. Hüttl

Known as a brasswind maker, Anton Konrad Hüttl started his company in 1877. The company advertised in 1913 that they had the largest most modern factory in Austria-Hungary and Germany.

In 1945, the company was Nationalized, and they relocated in South Wales.   Were these horns made by Hüttl? Maybe. Maybe not. Other Hüttl saxophones were in fact made by Hammerschmidt--which these were not. This is why these are in the Mystery category.    Whoever made these, also likely made the Lafleur Varsity that has caused such debate.
