Phase 1 Hohner Presidents are extremely uncommon, and it seems in more rare to find a tenor—let alone one in this kind of condition.
Like all Phase 1 Presidents this tenor has soldered tone holes. These are bevelled. It also has a G# and C/D trill keys.
Of note here is what the seller writes about the bell. The seller notes that the bell is 155mm wide, while in later models of the President the bell is only 148mm across.
I have noted that the bell on my 104XX President is anything but a big bell. As a matter of fact, it is probably the smallest bell of any of my tenor saxes. This might explain the wide differences in tone described by various Hohner players over the years, and what I experience when I play mine.
