This hard rubber (HR) MP is stamped with Max Keilwerth's Pure Tone Trade Mark logo. It likely came with one of his saxophones.
The MK MP's that I have seen usually have a metal band along the bottom, and since this one is missing, I can only assume that the MP was shortened for whatever reason.
