I had a really hard time determining whether this was a Transitional or a Phase 3 horn. In the end it all came down to the high F# key. 
 
The first clue was that the key is not nickel plated like the rest. It makes no sense that this key alone would have such a worn finish. 
 
The second clue was the way the key is attached. It doesn't appear to be attached like the rest of the high F# keys on the Phase 3 horns. I am open to being wrong. I would love to see better photos of it.
