According to the seller: Gerard Flemal was a bari player for Radio France. He was also a JK endoser, and in the mid 80s they built a very limited series of horns bearing his name. The seller bought this horn directly from Gerhard Flemal, who owned over 70 baris, and had his own saxophone museum.

The current owner had the horn rebuilt in 2013--despite it having very few playing hours--and ordered a custom neck from Gloger.
