Bassically A Site About All Things Sax

Jinyin

Although they may carry different stencil names, have slightly different finishes, or possibly other variations, the current crop of new, modern, vintage American-style basses are made by Jinyin. Here is a sampling of the Jinyin stencils that I’ve found to date.

To see more about these horns, check out this article on my Series about Asian-made bass saxophones.

My review of a Jinyin-made Xu Qiu, is a must read for anyone considering one of these long-wrap, Chinese bass saxophones.

If you want to see all the photos I have gathered on the various Asian-made bass saxophones by both Jinbao and Jinyin, check them out on our Bassic Sax Pix Galleries
