Buescher

bass saxophone, thumbnail image, yellow, black background
Buescher, and its chief rival Conn, dominated the sax-happy 1920s. Buescher’s True Tone saxophones were used by some of the most famous saxophone players in the world, including the legendary Brown Brothers.

Over time as Buescher improved its horns and developed newer models, they continued to use the tag line True Tone as a sales motto, and even engraved it on the back of their newer saxophones.

To see some examples of fine vintage Buescher saxophones, check out the Buescher Gallery in Bassic Sax Pix.
