Being a blues saxophone player, I often get called upon to play harp-like lines. It’s even been suggested to me that I take up the harmonica, just so I can add a different tonal colour to the music that we’re playing. To date I’ve not given in to the suggestions, although perhaps if I was to have a harmonica like the ones I’ve seen that resemble a sax, I might be more likely to give it a try.

Check out these great sax-shaped harmonicas. They are all vintage, and all appear to be European in origin. If you have one in your collection that you would like to see added here, please get in touch with me. Thanks!
