Spec-Toy saxes appear to have a popular children’s toy/noise maker in the 1950s. These two appeared for sale in the summer of 2015, and were described the seller like this:
2 Vintage SPEC-TOY Product Plastic Toy Saxophone Horns!
One molded in Red Plastic, the other in Yellow Plastic!
Made in USA. Both in working condition, plays just one note, sounds similar to a harmonica reed sound.
About 10″ in size. Light soiling, light wear, overall in Very Good collectible and displayable condition!

Seasonal Spec-Toy Saxes
Spec-Toy Products appears to have marketed many of their saxophone-shaped toys to the Halloween market. According to the seller, the following toy was pictured on page 62 of Pinkerton’s book Halloween Favorites in Plastic.

This old piece is very cool, it is made by the A SPEC TOY Product Made In USA
This is orange and black plastic.
It makes a beautiful sound when blowing through it, like a harmonica. The part that is blown through looks to be metal, like maybe a thin brass or something that has a yellow color, could be a brass colored tin, (we tried to capture it in a photo below)
This measures about 6 inches
It has a lot of detail as you can see in the photos
In the black part, you can see the ornate design.
